The objectives of this course is to teach students advanced level steel design. Topics that are not usually covered in undergraduate steel courses are covered herein. Both theoretical and practical knowledge related with advanced steel design is provided.
Special connections, plate girders, industrial buildings, multistow steel structures, load and resistance factor design, fatigue in steel, light gauge steel construction. (R)
