Course Objective

The objectives of this course are to provide the student familiarity with the fundamentals of financial management theory; develop in them an understanding of corporate and project finance applications in construction business; thus, acquire an analytical framework to assess the economic drivers behind civil engineering works; and improve students’ oral presentation skills by emphasising class participation.
