An Award from Japan to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevdet Yalçıner

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevdet Yalçıner has been awarded by the Hamaguchi Award provided by the Japanese Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism since 2016. Hamaguchi award, which is an internationally unique and pioneer in tsunamis, storms and marine disasters worldwide, is a special award given to scientists or institutions that contribute to science and raise awareness in the society. Award ceremony will take place on October 29, 2019 in Tokyo. We congratulate Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevdet Yalçıner for his success.
