Dear members of the Civil Engineering Department,

Two new books have been published by our department's retired professors, Dr. M. Semih Yücemen and Dr. Erhan Karaesmen. Dr. M. Semih Yücemen's book titled "Structural Reliability: Uncertainty Modeling, Probability, Random Processes, and Seismic Hazard Analysis" and Dr. Erhan Karaesmen's book titled "Variations on the Theme of Sinan" have been published in Turkish. We congratulate our department's highly esteemed professors.
