Dear members of our department,

On Wednesday (February 12, 2020) at 13.30, within the scope of ERASMUS faculty exchange program, from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), in Malaysia, two seminars will be given by Dr. Ng ChengYee in our department. Seminars will be given in the K1-106 classroom. All students and researchers interested in the subject are invited.

Biography:
Dr. Ng ChengYee is current a senior lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). She received her BSc in Civil Engineering (2008), MSc in Civil Engineering (Offshore Structures) in 2010 and PhD in Civil Engineering (Offshore Structures) in 2014 from UTP. She returned to her alma mater UTP in year 2014 as a lecturer.  In her current research, she is focusing on Engineering Education, Offshore Structures, Wave hydrodynamics and Marine Renewable Energy. 
She was invited as a visiting scholar by Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Indonesia.  In 2018, she was seconded in the Project Management Office of UTP as a data analyst as well the university ranking data management.  Nevertheless, she is also a Lean Six-Sigma Greenbelt Practitioner.  
During her free time, she’s actively engaging with the community and she is the Second Vice President of Lions Club International (LCI) Ipoh Riverview, Perak, Malaysia. 
She is truly passionate and actively seeking opportunity in both academic as well research collaborations.
