Ph.D. student Makbule Ilgaç was awarded The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TUBITAK) 2214 International Doctoral Research Fellowship to continue her research studies at University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Robert Kayen and Prof. Dr. Kemal Önder Çetin. During April 2018-April 2019 while she was at Berkeley, Makbule completed the processing of shear wave velocity case histories to be used in the development of new seismic soil liquefaction triggering relationships.
