Our former president and retired faculty member, our beloved teacher. We are experiencing the deep sorrow of losing Prof. Turhan Y. Erdoğan on Friday, 04.01.2019 at the hospital where he was being treated. Even though he is retired, he was continuing to teach in our department, where he touched the life of many of our students and he has a special place in their heart. A ceremony will be held on 05.01.2019 at 13.45 at our department and then he will be buried at the Karşıyaka Cemetery. We would like to express our condolences to the family and students of our esteemed teacher.
