On November 14, 2019 on behalf of our department, 20 trees were planted in a designated area within METU land with the participation of our head of department, department staff and students. At the end of the event, simit, ayran (buttermilk), triangular cheese and dessert were served. This beautiful activity, which started with a walk to the designated area, ended with a return to the department with shuttle services. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization.
