Faculty Position in Structural Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University invites applications for a full-time position in the area of structural engineering and mechanics. Candidates must have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and an earned Ph.D. degree in a closely related field. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes, supervising undergraduate and graduate students, developing and maintaining an externally funded research program, and collaborating with other faculty on research. The successful candidate's expertise is expected to complement and strengthen existing faculty research and teaching in structural engineering. Priority will be given to applicants at the assistant professor level.
Formal training and applied research in the broad area of structural engineering and mechanics are required, to be supported by a record of scholarly publications.
